It refers to someone's fashion style, demeanor and reputation basically. It's also a word I can't help but loathe

It used to mean the stuff that a burglar stole. Nowadays I've heard the word used to describe goodies given to celebs by manufacturers in order that they advertise the goods by using or wearing them.
