Epson Stylus S22 ink problem?

I've just got a new black ink cartridge for my Epson S22. Its a black E-T1281 cartridge (not an official one, but it said on the packet that its suitable for the Epson S22)

After i installed it, it refused to print apart from a few tiny faint marks. I have:

-Took the cartridge out, shook it and put it back in

-Ran a clean on the 'maintinence' option

-Printed out a test page

And it still dosent work! Ps. On the display when i print something, it says i have a full black ink cartridge and the device is 'ready to print'

Please help :(

Check if the cartridges are installed properly. You can also check the printer heads if its clean and not clogged to be sure.

You haven't forgot to pull the tag off the cartridges when you put it back into the printer,I have done this before now.

If a pop up tells you you're not using the correct ink, just click OK.It should work then.

    Hope this helps!
