i used to have 2 guinea pigs (one passed away this morning) :( she's been with her sister since she was born and shes now about 5 years old. She's always gets upset without her, even if i took her sister out for a cuddle she'd panic and start squealing.

Is there any way i can stop her pining for her sister and getting depressed? Im really worried about her! :(

Im getting a dressmakers dummy for my birthday and i've been browsing online and Im stuck on which to choose. Some are 4 part and some are 8 part.. whick one looks the best?

I've just got a new black ink cartridge for my Epson S22. Its a black E-T1281 cartridge (not an official one, but it said on the packet that its suitable for the Epson S22)

After i installed it, it refused to print apart from a few tiny faint marks. I have:

-Took the cartridge out, shook it and put it back in

-Ran a clean on the 'maintinence' option

-Printed out a test page

And it still dosent work! Ps. On the display when i print something, it says i have a full black ink cartridge and the device is 'ready to print'

Please help :(

I havent used my sewing machine for a while and now it gathers when it stitches, and on the underside of the fabric , there is loops in the stitching. How do i get it back to normal? xx

This is for part of some research for my textiles project at school. It could be places, reasons, causes... whatever springs to mind!

So, Im watching the news and every single day I hear more and more headlines about how university fees are sky high and how people arent getting places, or getting employed after their course (etc, etc)

My parents really cant afford these crazy £9,00 per year fees and im starting to think British university isnt a good idea, especially when rates of employment are decreasing aswell.

This is a random 'lightbulb' moment, but i'd really love some information about if I could go into higher education in America. I'll be 18, and would like to do a fashion design course.

Is there anywhere i could go to do this in america? Also, how much are the fees?

I have 2 years to plan this :)

Hey, on my old computer i used to have an add-on to firefox which enabled me to press F2 and write in hiragana and katakana

I cant remember what the name of the addon is, and need it for my studies! :(

I think it also let you type in other foreign characters on settings

When i take my dog for a walk, he cocks his leg up EVERYTHING HE SEES. Its really annoying as i use a lead.

The annoying thing is, after the first time or two.. no pee even comes out so he dosent need to!

They've been in my room, everywhere for about two years.. we managed to get rid of them but they've came back.

Its digusting! They've crawled all in my school books, my clothes and in my bed :(

They can fly, are pretty tiny (im guessing about 2mm long and 1mm wide?) have shells and can fly. I kill hundreds of them daily and there are dead ones everywhere

For some reason, hundreds of them have decided to live in my toybox and imbed themselves in my soft toy's fur. What the hell are they? And more importantly, How the hell do you kill them so they never come back.

First i thought it was my time of the month... but it's been going on for months. At no percific time.

I'm surrounded by friends, and i have an amazing boyfriend, but i still feel lonley. Especially around my friends. I feel like they all hate me, and nobody considers me as their friend anymore. I feel like i've gotten so distant from people, for no reason. I feel lame and stupid and useless. And i have no confidence anymore. I get nervous about talking to people. I don't know if it's the stress of exams, or depression, or what

I'm choosing my A Levels at the moment and are undecided about weather to pick french. I am hoping to do a career in the fashion industry by being a designer, or failing that, a fashion journalist.

I got an A in my GCSE and did it a year early. So i don't think i'll have any problem doing it. It's just im worried it's going to be too much work as im also doing:

English Language and Literature

Japanese

Textiles

World Development

And im also thinking of taking Sociology instead.

So, i was wondering weather French is a valued language to have in the workplace. I'd especially like to here from people who have had experience in the fashion industry. Is it of any benefit or importance?

So here's the deal

I am completely and totally in love with my current boyfriend. We've pretty much planned our entire lives together and I'm the happiest i think i've ever been.

There is a downside to this plan though, i want to go to university and get a degree in fashion. My apsoloute dream is to be a fashion designer, or to do fashion journalism.

The job itself involves some travelling, but on top of that my boyfriend wants to be an engineer. He's doing an apprentiship or going to sixth form as a last resort. And he really dosen't want to go to university.

I really think that when we live together, me being a student and not really being able to contribute to the rent, as well as my student antics will tip him over the edge. He's not a party person. But socialising and partying is all part of the university experience, so i know that i will party hard. Which may annoy him.

I'm really torn between weather i should persue this dream, or to stay with him and get a job to fund the rest of our lives together. So i suppose my questions are this:

What shall i do?

Is it possible to maintain a relationship whilst you're in university?

Could i possibly do something like an apprentiship, or internship instead .. are they any good?

Please help.

So, i've been in my first sexual relationship for 7 months; we have it often and its been amazing
