why would someone from religion and spirituality section mail me such message?
someone from this section sent me the following message
Death brings immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether you believed in JESUS for His free gift of salvation, or not. There is no second chance to be saved, after death.
Nobody can be saved on judgment day. It is judgment! Everyone that appears at judgment day (the Great White Throne judgment), is sent to eternal torment in the lake of fire.
So the key is to avoid appearing at judgment day, and the only way to avoid appearing at judgment day, is by believing in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, John 3:16! That easy!
Heaven is eternal joy with the Lord! :D
The lake of fire is eternal torment. Nobody has to be sent to the lake of fire. Jesus wants everybody in heaven!
Because the TRUTH is that the death and blood of JESUS is the only acceptable SACRIFICE and PAYMENT for our sins, and we are all sinners. It is already done by Jesus. Nothing else pays for any of our sins. All the good deeds in the world won't pay for even ONE of our sins. All the "living a moral life" won't pay for even one of our sins. No "religions of the world" can pay for anyone's sins.
So to be in heaven and not in hell, believe in Jesus for salvation RIGHT NOW!
Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! :D And the Trinity is true! Jesus is the Messiah!
i have no idea who the sender is or why the sender sent me this? i want to know WHY
firstly I am Hindu and barely even know anything about Jesus or Christianity so I was bit startled

There are a lot of religious fanatics in that section, just ignore it & don't reply to it.Block them if you don't want further messages from them.

I do not venture to guess the reason they sent it.
Those beliefs are NOT Christian, but are instead *apostate*-Christianity.
So, I do suggest that you set your mind at ease by reading what the Bible ITSELF says.
This is discussed --with the Scriptures quoted & referred to-- in the following articles:
"Exposed---Six MYTHS About Christianity":
---One Myth Leads to Another
- Myth #1: 'The Soul Is Immortal'
- Myth #2: 'The Wicked Suffer in Hell'
- Myth #3: 'All Good People Go to Heaven'
- Myth #4: 'God Is a Trinity'

Obviously this person doesn't even understand the scriptures! In the Bible hell is the grave. If it speaks of fire (in the case of the lake of fire) it symbolizes complete destruction with no return of life, no resurrection. And, there is MUCH false religion. Trinity is NOT true! No wonder people are becoming atheists. Take a look at the 6t Myths of Christendom! http://www.watchtower.org/e/20091101/article_01.ht... I know you will find this interesting. Peace

Just delete it , the person is trying to push their views on you.
The sad thing is they have no idea what they are talking about ,it is totally false.

It's a cut and paste job.
You are just being preached to, that's all.
Have a nice day.

They were trying to be helpful and convert you. Hey, you should be grateful Fireball didn't message you.

that guy used to be named "Chris"...I got one too a long time ago. its normally only after you ask a question.
the "free gift" is his calling card.

They thought they were being helpful...or....they were using their "religious belief" to attack you. Either way, that's why I block all incoming email messages on Y!A. I got really tired of angry anti-gay activist "Christians" trying to recruit me into the immoral anti-gay lifestyle.
