I've noticed one way in which your mock draft doesn't tend to follow draft typical history. Normally teams that are up near the start of the draft order are going to focus on offense. Normally that means you're obviously starting out with QB's. Then after that, you're normally looking at big guys for the offensive line since they are needed to protect the money invested quarterback, allow the run and pass games to happen, get injured a descent bit during the season (so replacements are usually needed), and big ones are hard to come by so they go fast. Then you likely get one or two high quality WR's thrown in the mix. Towards the middle or end of the draft round is where the RB's and defensive players are usually picked up.

Most teams are first worried about the offense and getting their big men.

And for 2nd round for the Colts, I wouldn't expect them to get a wide receiver. While the Colts did lose Garcon and Gonzalez. Gonzalez was already out most of the time injured. And the Colts picked up Avery in the free agent market as cheap speedy replacement for Garcon. With the loss of Dallas Clark, Saturday and others I'd expect them to go after a TE or a big guy for their offensive line. They've picked up a few big guys for the O-line from the Eagles and there are a few they picked up last year. But last year they were super weak on the O-line and the guys they picked up last year for the O-line were out most of the year injured. And I'd think they want one or two guys better than the guys they picked up in free agency. And with the addition of Luck, they'll want some big guys on the O-line to protect him.

For the 3rd round, defense could be on their mind since they will be working on switching to a 3-4 defense. They may also look at a RB around this stage. They did lose Joseph Addai so they might want to replace him, but Delone Carter and Donald Brown both kinda stepped up last year some.

If the Colts grab a WR, I'd think it'd likely be around the 4th round.

It's way over my head. I'm amazed you have LK going to the Chiefs with the 11th pick. I hope you're right.

I don't expect that Belichek will keep both first round draft picks. He might surprise you and try to do a deal with the Eagles for their first round pick this year and next with his two first rounders and a Patriots offensive lineman like Marcus Cannon. It might happen if a guy like the LSU DE is available with the 15th pick. (He strikes me as another Richard Seymour.) The Eagles need to protect Vick or their investments in Vick and Desean make no sense. Getting a kid who can play right away plus two first round picks for another OL and LB would make sense to me.

I don't think you'll see the Pats take a running back in the 3d round. They have two RBs who should be healthy and ready to start. More likely the Pats will be looking for another CB or a Safety with this pick.

I appreciate all your work. Have a great week!

Thats about right for the 49ers. However, they might draft OG in the 1st round since they dont have starting OG

I really don't like the Packers won well i like the first round but the other two are bad in the first three rounds we will be definitly be getting a OLB in one of those rounds. But other wise this is pretty good
