Help with eating healthier?
I'm trying to eat healthier, and one of the things I'd like to try is a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Do you think it would taste okay if I didn't add any seasonings or anything, like just the chicken and the bread? I don't like sauces or toppings on anything I eat, so it's okay if it would be bland, but just making sure it wouldn't taste bad.
I HATE salad, it makes me gag. Do you know of anything that would make it taste better without adding too many fat or calories or anything? I know it's not really that good for you, but I'm sure it's better than nachos or pizza.
Also, how can I stop myself from eating junk food so much? It's really hard, because I'm still in high school, and the school only sells junk, and I never have time to make a good lunch, I basically end up bringing the same types of things I'm trying to avoid.
Thanks! (:

Grilled chicken is great, and it tastes great without adding condiments. Add seasoning before you grill for better flavor. The first step to eating healthier is planning. If you don’t meal plan and have healthy food around your house, you’ll end up snacking on junk that you pick up from a convenience store or fast food drive-through. The same goes for your lunches; you need to pack your lunch if your school doesn’t have any healthy options. You may say you don’t have time, but everyone needs to make time to be healthy. Spend 10 minutes before you go to bed making your lunch for the next day, pack it up in a lunch bag, and pop it in the fridge. In the morning, just grab it and go. You should also eat breakfast every morning to jumpstart your metabolism. Use the same plan as you do for lunches: If you don’t have time in the mornings, make your breakfast the night before. You could even make a week’s worth of breakfasts in one day. An easy option is omelet cups. Add egg whites and veggies to a cupcake pan. Bake them, and then when they’re done, seal each (or a couple) in individual baggies. Store them in your fridge and in the morning microwave them for a few seconds. Bring a water bottle to school every day and drink it all day long. Refill as needed.

1. There's only one way to find out if you'll like a grilled chicken sandwich - try it. I'm a big fan of Wendy's Ultimate Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I tell them to hold the sauce and order an unsweetened tea and a $1 salad with it. 335 calories.
2. There are many low cal salad dressings or you could try plain or apple cider vinegar. You could also try eating raw or cooked vegetables. But, really you just have to get yourself use to eating salads. Do they taste as good as pizza? Heck no! If you want to be thin and healthy, you eat salad.
3. Again, you are in charge of your own destiny. If you are tired of being fat, stop eating junk food. Eat filling meals and low-cal snacks.
4. Plan ahead! Make your lunch the day before school and bring it with you.

Okay, here is a inspiration... Breakfast: Banana-first-class system to begin the day. Snack one: two% yogurt with honey or fruit. Try to to uncover the enterprise "FAGE"". It's greek yogurt and tastes such a lot creamier than different yogurts Lunch: Salad-placed toppings on it nonetheless preclude croutons, fried or "crispy" meats (consistently get grilled) and huge quantities of cheese. I consistently hated lo-fat dressing and prefer a tiny little little bit of oil and lots of vinegar however both will paintings. Snack two: A small scale down apple and approximately 6 quantities of three/four" chedder cheese cubes. Dinner: Brown rice, a grilled fish or bird and a couple of greens. Your ought to do all 3. Snap peas are a vegatable that tastes sweeter so that you could like that. Dinner alternative: The "to-move" Subway sandwich. Order off of the sunshine menu. Always use entire wheat bread one-of-a-kind snacks which may also be tasty and well for you: edmame (purchase it frozen and get ready dinner it up), dried cherries, smooth pretzels (from the frozen division), raw unsalted almonds (best 6 at a time). Drink tons of water. Ia lso find that chewing a part of gum is helping to slash the urge to snack. Good luck!
