How do you simplify 18x/(3+3i) ?

Wolfram Alpha says I can simplify this to (3-3i)x , however I'm not exactly sure how to simplify the problem.

If I have 9/(3+6), I'd add the 3 and 6 to get nine, and divided 9 by 9 to get 1. But when you throw in the imaginary number, I'm kind of stuck.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!

Multiply the top and bottom by 3-3i.

    18x*3-3i

    3+3i * 3-3i

    54x-54xi

    9-9i^2 (-9i^2 becomes +9)

    54x-54xi

    18

    54x/18 - 54xi/18

    3x-3xi

    x(3-3i)

a complicated style is made out of two areas further jointly: a real par "A" and an imaginary section "Bi" A+Bi once you have 2 or greater complicated numbers being further or subtracted, you in basic terms combine like words... aka combine the genuine words... and then combine the imaginary tersm -2 - 3i + 8 + 6i (-2 + 8) + (-3i + 6i) 6 + 3i
