Can I plant kale in the same spot I planted broccoli last year?

    They are both in the brassica family, and it's better not to plant any of those in the same place that another barssica was in. Brassicas are subject to club root, which can remain in the soil for a long time. Crop rotation isn't a total preventative by any means, but it's better than nothing.
