  • Is this a seizure or what?

Often when I'm really stressed or bored (stuck somewhere and don't have the option of doing anything else) I'll start having a weird sensation... It's extremely hard to describe but I'l try my best. I feel some sort of ecstacy and often bend my head back and open my mouth as if I'm sucking like... the life force out of the air. Every movement I make seems to be a part of some large mechanism and it all feels good; the pleasure I have is almost sexual in nature. It's comparable to sensations while high on marijuana (I've used the drug before but haven't in over a year). Usually when I'm deep into this state I'll look like a zombie and rarely respond to anyone around me. I'm completely conscious, and it's not like I'm actually physically disabled, but i get into a "zone" that, at the moment, I just don't want to leave. I embrace it when it comes on.

  • Sleep deprivation prior to MRI?

I was told not to sleep the night before my MRI. Is there any reason for this? I looked it up and couldn't find anything other than making babies fall asleep for MRIs so that they don't move.

  • Could I kill small game (birds, squirrels) with this gun?

I honestly don't know anything about guns, so I'm sorry if I sound like a complete idiot.

I have an old air gun; it's called an "air strike 240" and is 0.24 cal/6.0 mm. It's at least 5-10 years old, but it still works. I'm wondering if I should bother buying any ammo or just get a new one. I'm interested in hunting squirrels and birds in the forest near me or just in my backyard. I'm only 16 years old so I can't get a real gun. Any help is appreciated.

  • What body type do I have?

    Here is a picture:

I'm 16 years old, about 6'0 and 150 lbs. I have an average amount of body fat and muscle, and I'm not entirely sure but I think my arms are fairly long. I don't exercise much but I eat a very healthy diet, and I love to eat. I'm just curious; I'm going to guess mesomorph but I'm really bad at this kind of stuff.

  • Is it strange for a guy to have curves?

I'm 16 years old and I'm often told I have more curves than my friends who are girls. I don't particularly have wide hips but my upper body is pretty v-shaped. I'm well through puberty and I have an average amount of muscle mass. It's kind of like I have an indentation between my ribs and hips. But yeah, is this strange?

  • Mind shutting down in response to stress?

I need to try not to make this too long, so here I go; whenever I get stressed or overwhelmed and can't seem to get away from it, I start to get really calm, stare blankly into space, not move at all unless I have some sort of outside incentive (name called, touched, itchy) and any reactions are very slow (or at least seem to be), and often, at its worse, I'm unresponsive for the most part. It's not entirely involuntary, though I wouldn't call it voluntary. I can't get out of it unless I'm alone for 5-10 minutes and have time to get back to normal; it's sort of scary, but at the same time it's not an unpleasant experience. I'm fully conscious during these episodes and they vary in intensity. I'm fairly aware of what's going on around me, though everything seems hazy and ethereal; it's like I'm separated from it. It can last anywhere from 10 minutes to over two hours. The stressful situations usually aren't too extreme, though I know I'm a fairly anxious person. I'm a 16 year old male. If you have any idea what could be going on, please give an opinion; thanks.

  • How much space will cantaloupe, butternut squash, and acorn squash take up?

Would a 7' x 9' area of land be enough space for these plants if planted on hills? And how do the vines for each grow-- do they all sprawl or do any vine upwards?

  • What type of birds are these at my bird feeder?

I installed a bird feeder about a week ago with a general mix of seed (millet, sunflower seed, wheat, etc) and I've seen a few cardinals here and there, but most often I see one type of bird. They're very small; 4-5 inches in length maybe, and they have white bottoms and gray/black tops though the colors are mixed. Some of them (I'm assuming the males) have red at the top of their hears while the others have gray/white tops. I don't think it's any sort of special bird, but I often see upwards of 8-10 at and around the feeder so I'm just curious as to what kind of birds they are.

  • I stare blankly into space and stop moving for long periods of time sometimes?

There are times when I just completely relax my body and stare at the wall or something and think very little about anything at all, and this can last for upwards of an hour if I'm not with anyone. though usually it's about 20-30 minutes. It definitely happens more often when I'm stressed out about something, but it happens randomly as well. It's very hard to explain, also. In a way it's voluntary, but once I feel myself slipping into this "state" I can't get out of it unless someone calls my name or touches me. I'm completely aware of what goes on around me but I pay little attention to it.

  • Is bertolli marinara with burgundy wine all natural?

The ingredient list looks fine to me until I see the word "spices." It says "made with natural ingredients" but not all natural.

  • Are these reactions to stress strange?

Sometimes if I'm extremely stressed out (which is often), I'll freeze in a certain position and just stare, and I'll stay in the position without looking around at all or moving unless someone gets my attention. I am completely conscious during these episodes, and I know that I'm doing it, I just find it hard to get out of it without some outside impetus causing me to react. I also sometimes shake my arms back and forth while I'm standing while keeping my hands completely limp... If I'm trying to fall asleep and I'm extremely stressed, I'll end up having hypnagogic hallucinations much more easily... My imagination can become very vivid; I can imagine a voice or a face and hear or see it. Even if I look around, everything will look warped and I can see strange face-like images all around, and if it's really bad I'll think there is actually someone there and it'll be hard for me to realize until I become alert again, and realize that it's not real... Then I can't sleep. I even feel euphoric as I'm falling asleep sometimes. There things happen fairly often, but are much more common and much worse when I feel extremely overwhelmed by something. Is this just a sort of defense mechanism against my own anxiety, or do I need to go see a psychiatrist?
