you should check if the hose from the back of the dryer is hooked up to the outside of your house,or is plugged with lint. blowing moist hot air in room from the dryer hose could cause a mold problem. A plugged hose could cause a fire! check it right away. or have it checked.

Don't forget that there is a large electrical heating element in the back of your dryer. The heat from this element causes your clothes to dry.
Unfortunately if the dryer is uninsulated, (or the vent not ducted properly to the outdoors), then the heat will build up in your laudry room.
