If you contact DWP to advise your condition has got better/worse do you require to again complete the long assessment form or do they adjust your DLA payment from the information you give them? Thanks.

    Hello,

The simple answer is YES, they will want to re assess you, one to see if you should be receiving higher rate or secondly to see if they can either cancel your DLA altogether or to reclaim money from you if you are getting better. I have to say this though, if you are advising them you are getting better only do it if you have little or no symptoms for a long consistant amount of time, if one day in a month you are too ill to assist your self and someone has to assist you do nothing, it is only when there are no symptoms at all that you should advise them.
