How do you unplug or escape from everything in Orlando?

I am finding it hard to unplug from everything. Here is the honest truth: I am a full time college student, I live in Orlando Florida, I don't hang out with my friends anymore, I work on the weekends. I just want to kind of escape from it all every once in a while without going very far.

It is hard to escape because it is Orlando, and everywhere is urbanized and unplugging (from video games and tv) is hard because I do not have very many friends. I just want to find place to relax with no one else around, any suggestions?

Update:

@Rein: I live in Orlando, thus, it is about Orlando. People like you are the reason why I don't like Orlando.

Playalinda Beach on the Canaveral National Seashore. You can have a whole stretch of the beach mostly to yourself.

We liked Blue Spring State Park, off of I-4 halfway between Orlando and Daytona. On a November trip, we saw all sorts of wildlife including manatees and alligators close enough to touch. (But didn't!) a decent trail through the tropical setting an a huge clear spring. On the day we chose, three days before Thanksgiving and the theme parks were packed, we had the place virtually to ourselves.

Same here! Except I'm not in Orlando. But I get what you mean!

When I need to relax and have my escape, I know this sounds crazy, but I listen to music. If you go in one place where its quiet and your alone, listen to these songs and maybe it's just me, but I feel like Im in my own zone when I listen to them.

Just close your eyes, get comfy and think of absolutely nothing.

My suggestion: Go to Yahoo Browse categories and find where do put this question. It has nothing to do with Florida, Orlando, Travel
