GW Bush is directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of people losing their lives in Iraq, including well over 4000 US military.

This country had nothing whatsoever to do with Al Qaeda, or the events of 9/11, there were no terrorists in Iraq at that time.

The Iraq war was all to do with GW Bush one-upmanship with his own father, who as president, failed to get rid of Saddam Hussein. The son had something to prove to his father, and many died because of their feudal relationship.

The GW Bush administration is also responsible for worsening world public opinion against the USA to the lowest level in it's entire history. Especially concerning your treatment of prisoners and your breech of the Geneva Convention.

How can you say he is the best President when his "Patriot Act" took away all of your constitutional rights in one hit ?

Obama has not been able to do anything in congress for two years because the Republicans have a majority, and they are deliberately blocking everything the Democrats try to do.

In addition Obama has faced a campaign of total character assassination for his whole term of office. He has been demonised by the right wing press and the media in general, even his birthright was put in doubt !

The Republicans only allowed "Obamacare" to be passed because they did a deal with the Democrats to allow deep sea oil drilling off the American coastline.

The BP disaster in the Gulf of Mexico was a result, and that was caused by faulty work by the US company Haliburton, on BP's oil rig. Haliburton is one of the companies tied very closely to many in the GW Bush administration, including Dick Cheney and the whole Bush clan !

Profit before safety seems to be more their philosophy.

When you talk about who is ripping off who in the USA, you should start with the banking and finance sectors, because it was these people that introduced the "subprime" mortgage catastrophe. These same people then sold off trillions of dollars of disguised bad debts throughout the world.

The result of which was the worldwide recession starting in 2008, with many tens of millions of job losses. This recession is still ongoing and it is affecting everyone, not just the USA !

All of this happened during GW Bush's "Watch" !

When GW Bush came to power, the Dow Jones index was over 10,600, when he left power it stood at 7,900.

US national debt doubled during his 8 years as president.

Bush cut taxes for the wealthy by nearly 1,75 trillion dollars a year.

As the tax on the wealthiest went down, the US debt increased by the same amount.

The number of US millionaires increased tenfold, and billionaires increased by 6 times.

Basically, Bush has taken from the poor and given to the rich, a sort of reverse Robin Hood.

US unemployment rose from 4 million when Bush became president, to 7,2 million when he left, and it was still rising at 750,000 job losses a month when Obama took over.

In 2008, during Bush's last year as President, US unemployment rose by 2,9 million people.

Now, under Obama, US unemployment is falling at 250,000 a month !

Obama inherited the USA in a worst condition that any previous president ever before, even Truman had it better when Roosavelt died, because the second world war was almost won.

Believe me, it will take many decades for the US to recover from BW Bush's catasrophic presidency.

He's rated worse by Republicans because they can't stand to lose. I knew with Obama going into office that the first 2 years were going to be spent cleaning up a mess already. All republicans could do is divide politics even more. They were spewing "taking back the country", taking it back from who exactly? Was the country stolen? Then the whole fiasco with a birth certificate trying to take America's view off what was really going on. I think the candidates for office fight among themselves and show the real strength of the Republican party. Here's a good thing that came out of Obama being elected, it showed that minorities and young voters actually do have a voice even though we weren't being heard by republicans, now you can't help but listen.

If your father's Union wages put you through college and afforded you the lifestyle you have, you wouldn't be so down on unions. Second, Obama's made mistakes like all presidents but I'm sorry, no president has ever been as cocky and ignorant as Dubya. He couldn't even pronounce nuclear. He says nuculur. I agree that minorities are ripping off tax payers, and I don't fully agree with Obama's policies, but anyone calling Bush the best president isn't very well informed. Bush and his cronies were so down on unions because they were against the middle class working man making a decend living. And then Conservatives wonder why so much of the population chooses not to work and sit at home while the rest of us hard working middle class feed, house and clothe them. It's not the ultra wealthy who pay for all the social programs, food stamps, welfare, etc.

History will tell, but somehow, I don't think a president that lied to the world so he could start one of the longest, most pointless and most expensive wars in US history is going to even come close to making the short list for best president. I don't think a president who started with the largest budget surplus in US history and quickly turned that into the largest deficit in US history is going to make the short list for best president.

As for Obama, again, history will tell, but here you have someone who got rid of Don't Ask Don't Tell so gays can openly serve in the military without having to pretend to be something they aren't. Obama saved the US auto industry, and has managed to stop our economy from its free-fall nosedive that the last guy left behind. Are we back to where we were before? No, but I'll take small growth over huge losses any day.

Wow! If you think GWB could make a best president list, you're certifiable. Obama isn't likely to make either extreme of a list like that, though he certainly has upset the Republicans--that alone tells me he's doing something right.

I would never vouch for Obama's credibility, but I would certainly never say Bush was the best without having a paper bag over my head.

Conservatives think he is the worst, but I don't think they think Bush is the best.
