Also is there a possibly way to complety delete every thing jailbroken wihout a restore?

Well, the 1GB is occupied by the operating system, driver, and firmware. And "deleting everything jailbroken" without completely restoring it is impossible. But losing all of your data isn't necessary. Just follow these steps (but make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi):
1. Tap Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup
2. At the bottom of the menu is a button saying "Back Up Now". Tap it.
3. Wait for it to finish and restore your iPod from your computer.
4. After the iPod gets the out of the box screen, slide and connect to your Wi-Fi.
5. When it asks for a backup, tap "Restore from iCloud backup"
6. Tap the most recent backup. Then you're done!
Hope this helps!

It's actually 1.5 gb, i'm pretty sure. but it's for -
- the iOS
- pre installed applications. The ones you CAN'T delete. (Calender, safari, appstore, weather, etc.)
And nah, i don't think you can delete everything on your ipod.
Jail breaking it will probably make it crash more. People jail break their ipods because they want more freedom to customize the ipod, and put more personality into it. It most likely won't make anything faster, smoother, etc.
Take it to a radioshack or a bestbuy to get it looked at. Maybe it could be defected.
good luck though!

The reason is because your iPod has basic things on it that takes up space. For instance, the things you can't delete like the Calendar, the Weather thing, the App Store, etc.

The 1gb is all the pre-programmed things that apple put on :)
And I'm not sure about the jailbreaking part of the question!
