Is red wine haram in Islam ? ?

I am muslim, but my family is not traditional Muslim, mostly there is wine with dinner especially in occasions. I want to know if red wine if halal and what about home made red wine?

    Basically, in Islam you have to wait until you get to paradise to drink wine. Though I think most of that is cultural. Just because you are drinking wine does not mean you are a drunk or that you get drunk. I know some people in Egypt who put poison in beer because they think people who drink beer deserve to die. That is pretty judgmental, in my opinion. So my opinion is, if you don't want "intoxication" then just limit yourself to a couple of drinks.

    If it's got alcohol in it Allah told us not to drink it.

    yes, all intoxicants are forbidden
