How are reverse trikes in the rain?

I am thinking about buying a 250cc reverse trike but I was wondering if you can even run them in the rain. I know you can't take a motorcycle in the rain, but what about a reverse trike? I know they would be less dangerous than a motorcycle, but more dangerous than a 4 wheel vehicle.

I have driven them in the rain since my brother in law has two of them and they handle very well overall.

I do not know who is stuffing your head with false ideas, but you should stop listening to them.

You *CAN* ride a motorcycle in the rain.

A trike is not less dangerous than a motorcycle.

A trike is is not more dangerous than a cage.

What I would be worrying is when that 250cc reverse trike breaks. The only such that I know about are Cheap Chinese Crap -- no known manufacturer, no functional warranty, no known reliability, no manufacturer support, no dealer support, no service shop, no parts shop.

And yeah, I was wrong about running that CCC trike in the rain -- it will probably short/rust die if you run in the rain. Even faster than normal.

I have no idea how they handle, never having ridden one myself.

It has been said to me by those that have that they handle well in the wet.

Steering is more like a car than a motorcycle.

Wherever you have been getting your information so far is definitely the wrong place.

Reverse trikes are as stable as a 4 wheeler.

I have been riding my motorcycles in the wet for well over 20 years.

A motorcycle is not dangerous at all in the wet. The only real difference is that the rider must pay closer attention to the things that cagers are able to ignore due to the upright stability of having four wheels.

The road becomes no different when you choose a different vehicle - it is just as slick.

if you mean 2 wheels at the front trike, these are superb wet or dry but if you mean one wheel at the front, not recommended for anything!

Why can't you ride a motorcycle in the rain? I rode mine in the rain & snow.
