am i being stupid and should i just let it go?

yesterday i was in a weird mood and my bf did something soooooo small and stupid and it pissed me off like none other. he's a lot older than me so when i tried to pick a fight with him about it, he wouldn't put up with it and told me he needed time and we needed a break. and we stopped talking for 24 hours.i ended up crying for a couple hours cause i didn't really know where we stood and i couldnt believe i tried to pick a fight on the stupidest thing ever.

this morning after 24 hrs, i finally gave up and called him and he said we were fine and that he wasn't mad anymore and he just wanted a little time to himself and go out and hang out with friends. we're 1500 miles apart but we skype all day everyday so he said he wanted time to himself.

i can't stop wondering.. if i didnt call this morning, how much longer of this break would he have wanted? i want to ask him but i feel like that'll just piss him off more and i should just let it go.

what do you guys think

I've been through this...fortunately with me the so called "time to myself" was actually about 6 hours. My girlfriend got angry at me and told me to leave her alone and she had no idea how long for. She said a week or maybe two. Anyway she rang up that evening saying she was sorry for acting that way and we made up.

In your case it seems like he's a little more serious...as hard as it sounds you might have to do what i did and leave him for a bit...it might just be a day or maybe two...but trust me, in my experience it's best you leave well alone because that way they have time to be alone and think and come to a conclusion.
