The pope celebrates masses in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, specifically in the Vatican. Private audiences do not happen very often, but you can definitely catch a glimpse of him celebrating mass or giving a blessing at the Vatican. He usually only celebrates mass on feast days and holy days, but he holds a general audience every Wednesday in St. Peter's Square.
Also, masses are not held in Latin at the Vatican, but in Italian.
Hope I helped : )!

The Pope often celebrates Mass at St. Peter's Bascillica in Rome.... Private audiences are rare, so don't hold your breath for a one on one.
Oh and don't wear shorts or talk aloud while you're there... both are considered irreverent.

I'm an atheist, but you can send a letter to this address:
His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI
Apostolic Palace
00120 Vatican City
Just ask him about the masses he attends, and maybe he'll reply back!

There is a public audience every Wednesday and with the nice weather here, they are held outside, directly in front of St. Peter's. There are screens up so that people far back can see the Holy Father up close, pretty much like a rock concert.
