Should I ask her out?
There's a girl in one of my classes who I'm considering asking out, either on a date or to prom. She's a Junior, I'm a Senior. I only met her a few months ago, and I'm afraid she might have gotten the wrong impression of me as a stocky, dumbass football player.
Here's the problem; she's very shy except when she's around friends. I simply cannot read her well enough to see if she's interested in me. On the bright side, I've made her laugh a few times but she's very quiet and somewhat aloof.
My question is this:
How and should I ask her out?

okay first off, you should be talking to her frequenctly.. texting her.. calling her.. facebooking her.. not so its come across as desperate, but u want to be flirting with her.. if she flirts back, then it's a clear sign she has feelings for you, if not
1. she is either to shy and ur gona have ask her out, if she says no, take it on the chin and move on
2. she is not interested and you should move on.

Just be confident, go up to her if she's alone, and if she's with friends just ask to borrow her for a second. Don't be too pushy, just be laid back, and if she rejects you just take it in stride and know every little thing is gonna be all right.

You don't need to panic on asking her out. I'm a shy person too and if someone asks me out in a casual and free manner I wouldn't mind. Just be yourself and she'll like you.

U should definitely ask her out! The thing is she could be shy because ur a Senior football player and she's just a junior so she might be a little intimidated by you or think you might not like her. Just tell her what you think about her and ask her to the prom. You have to have confidence but not to much confidence!
