How do I get this girl?
I'm have a class with a really shy but attractive girl who I want to either ask out on a date or to prom. I tease her a lot, and I'm one of the few people I've seen be able to make her laugh and open up a little.
The only issue is, I think she might have the wrong idea about me. I have several of my buddies from football in the same class and we mess around and act like dumbasses. I've also leeched off her for class assignments that I haven't done, and I think she's getting the impression that I'm just using her to get homework.
How can I give her a better impression of me and increase my chances of asking her? I only have a week or two to do it before prom bids go on sale.

Just be yourself around her. Show her the real you. Thank her for the help with the homework assignments also. Don't let that help go unnoticed.

Well firstly just stop mooching off her work. Try and help her, or do something for her, or maybe even buy her a gift, but if you do any of these, make sure you say it's as thanks for helping you out with all the work you've copied off her, and try to seem like you did it because you were having trouble. I'd try to mess around with all those guys a bit less, as it would cause her to continue being shy, because she doesn't feel included. You can still hang around with them, but try and talk to her more, or maybe even include her in conversation with the guys, as weird as that may seem.

Okay ironic. Last school year I met a dude named gab who kept on teasing on me and copies my homework that I do and he's one of those stupid jocks before he asked me out but I rejected him because I wanted to study before dating. Coming from her side, I think if you only talk to her because you need her homework then of course shell think a bad impression on you. Try talking to her on different things personally to change her opinion towards you. And stop being a dumbass a little but to help out

Get a bit closer to her as friends but do NOT push it to best friends. She'll know the real you better. Then, ask her out!
