Did Rick Santorum drop out of the race because he was tired of being number 2?

He dropped out of the race because he knew that he was beaten. He was just dragging the GOP down at this point. The nomination will go to Romney, the only candidate with a chance of beating Obama.

Honestly, it bothers me that he uses his daughter as an excuse. I'm very sorry for their family, but using a three-year-old as a scapegoat seems a bit over-the-top.

Doesn't matter really, he's out right? But if you're interested, his daughter's failing health conflicted him.

The people with the money told him to.
