Jehovah's Witnesses, List some positives and negatives of life in heaven versus life on a righteous new earth?

2) State which fold you belong to, "Little Flock" or "Great Crowd"?

Update:

@ Beauty within----the "Litlle Flock" is the 144,000. Also not all JWs desire to go to heaven. The vast majority of JWs desire the earth. The only thing they probably desire is to see God face to face which only the 144,000 will get. That is one downside of the "earthly hope"....not being able to literally see God face to face.

Here is the thing: Most people think that much of the "physical conditions" will be spiritual or in Heaven. That is not always the case. We are made to be human (out of dust) and of course, our desires are earthly. That is why a "Great Crowd" will be able to see those blessings fulfilled "on earth". As far as the "Little Flock" that is those limited in number (144,000) that will be Kings & Priests along with Jesus Christ and they will rule over those that will be on earth. There are many scriptures on the subject but I will give you links to look up:

I agree there would be no negatives. What is the sad part I have heard from a sister who's mom is of the anointed is that she will not see her mom again on paradise earth. I would have that reservation as well about my children. However, we know that Jehovah said we will not remember of things that causes us pain for in Revelation says "the former things will pass away".

Anyway, I think of both being positive experiences, the only difference is one will serve closer physically to Jehovah which would be soooooo awesome.

It is a unique thing in our organization that people of the "Little Flock" are in no higher status than those of the "Great Crowd". This was pointed out to us many times. In other religions the one that has the "calling" are considered in a higher hierarchy and are granted special privileges. That is no the case here. There has been some of the anointed that has been disfellowshipped.

    I don't think I helped. :)

As for those going to heaven whether they are of the anointed ones or of the little flock we all desire to go to heaven and live forever. But as for the anointed ones 144,000 there is a positive of going to heaven. They will rule in heaven with Jesus Christ serving as kings and priest. For the little flock, they will be perfect in both mind and body living the life Jehovah God had intended for mankind to live in the beginning when Adam and Eve was created first.

Both the 144,000 faithful anointed ones and the little flock will live forever. Its just the little flock will live on earth and the 144,000 will remain in the heavens with Jesus Christ. We would all be rewarded. There is no negatives coming from both parts. This is a blessing and reward that only Jehovah God can give to mankind, man could never in life provide something as close to this.

His vision was reguarding "Spiritual Paradise". Since the obvious reason God gave the 1st Century congregation an inspired revelation of paradise in the first place, was because those anointed Christians were not then living in any sort of spiritual paradise. It existed only in a vision—a revelation. It seems, in fact, that Paul spoke of his supernatural vision of spiritual paradise to the Corinthians because they were so dysfunctional as a congregation—far removed from the paradise Paul envisioned. So what is Spiritual Paradise? Spiritual paradise is the blessed condition that Jehovah will bring about after he repurchases his people from the captive condition they will find themselves in during the tribulation. That paradise will be characterized by the complete absence of any sort of wickedness. Jesus said that such a condition will come about during the conclusion of the system of things, when God's mighty angels remove from Christ's kingdom; "all things that cause stumbling and persons who are doing lawlessness, and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace."

I have no desire to be in Heaven,I want to live in a Paradise. That's where the little flock differ. They desire to live in Heaven and just know it's where they will be ruling with Christ. Gods spirit made that desire manifested.. Anointed Christians are brought forth, or born again, by the holy spirit to become Jehovah’s spiritual sons. (John 1:12, 13; 3:5-7) Being adopted by Jehovah as “sons,” they become Jesus’ brothers. (Romans 8:15; Ephesians 1:5) As such, even while on earth, they are said to be ‘raised up and seated together in the heavenly places in union with Christ Jesus.’ (Ephesians 1:3; 2:6) They occupy this elevated spiritual position because they have been “sealed with the promised holy spirit, which is a token in advance of [their] inheritance” reserved for them in the heavens. (Ephesians 1:13, 14; Colossians 1:5) These, then, are “the things in the heavens,” of whom the total number foreordained by Jehovah needed to be gathered.

    I'm a Crowd-er. :-)

One benefit that immediately came to mind about heavenly life: Jehovah will have seen something worth in HIS Divine Sight that determined I would be an empathetic and compassionate judge, a fair and just king and a spiritually dedicated priest, since that's what our purpose in heavenly life brings.

Benefit for me on earth: Being able to play trumpet alongside guys like Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie.

And since new scrolls are to be opened... and also using the Genesis account of Adam in the garden... there might be a very good chance that we may see Jehovah face to face in our perfection.

And that would mean another benefit to life on a righteous new earth... walks and discussions in the breezy part of the day with my Good Friend. :-)

Either way there are no disadvantages, except for a small personal one. I do not want to rule anyone. I have never been comfortable deciding things for others, no matter how intelligent I am.

i am quite content to live on this earth brought back to paradise conditions. Especially to be in perfect health forever. Today, having just a plain pain free day seems an impossibility. To have centuries of them is so far beyond any experience I have ever known.

    *** rs p. 168 pars. 2-4 Heaven ***

Rev. 20:6: “They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” (Also Daniel 7:27)

1 Cor. 6:2: “Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?”

Rev. 5:10: “You made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over [“on,” RS, KJ, Dy; “over,” AT, Da, Kx, CC] the earth.” (The same Greek word and grammatical structure is found at Revelation 11:6. There RS, KJ, Dy, etc., all render it “over.”)

    *** rs p. 163 pars. 1-3 Heaven ***

Ps. 37:11: “The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”

Rev. 21:1-4: “I saw a new heaven and a new earth . . . I heard a loud voice from the throne say: ‘Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.’”

Mic. 4:3, 4: “They will not lift up sword, nation against nation, neither will they learn war anymore. And they will actually sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and there will be no one making them tremble; for the very mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken it.”

    Consider these points CAREFULLY...

Q: Did we all exist in the spirit realm before our birth as humans? What does the Bible teach?

A: Rom. 9:10-12: “Rebekah conceived twins . . . When they had not yet been born nor had practiced anything good or vile, in order that the purpose of God respecting the choosing might continue dependent, not upon works, but upon the One who calls, it was said to her: ‘The older will be the slave of the younger.’” (Of course, if the twins Jacob and Esau had lived previously in a spirit realm they certainly would have built up a record based on their conduct there, would they not? But they had no such record until after their birth as humans.)

Q: Do all good people go to heaven? What does the Bible teach?

A: Acts 2:34: “David [whom the Bible refers to as being ‘a man agreeable to Jehovah’s heart’] did not ascend to the heavens.” If he was agreeable to God, why wouldn't God grant him access to heaven?

Q: What will those who go to heaven (144,000) do there? What does the Bible teach?

A: Rev.

NOTICE that is says they will rule as kings. What do kings do? They rule over a kingdom. A kingdom has subjects, correct? Now, if everyone good goes to heaven, then where do the subjects come from?

No negatives can possibly exist. Will be able to move freely between heaven and righteous new earth where New Jerusalem will reside.
