OPEC can try to set production quotas for members, and the members can cheat on them. OPEC doesn't control much of anything, and certainly not oil prices.

Why would we allow a foreign Company a 1700 mile dangerous pipeline to a port for export of the oil? Then buy the oil back on the foreign market?
Why would we allow that foreign company with foreign profits to use foreign steel to build that pipeline?
N Korea and China want out food so let the oil companies rape our farm land and water supply to export oil to China?
