Romney files an extention for his 2011 tax return... what's the problem here?

"Sometime in the next six months, and prior to the election, Gov. Romney will file and release the 2011 return when there is sufficient information to provide an accurate return," wrote Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul in an email to reporters. Six months from now would be Oct. 13, weeks before the election.

Everybody has all of the information they need in order to file their taxes on time.

One reason for which to delay your filing is laziness.

In Romney's case it is probably that he is trying to get insight into tax code

revisions for next year and to decide what he will differ into next year's filing.

Business people have the flexibility to shift expenses and incomes into the

next year's filing. It's a perk of being in certain businesses.

Or yes, maybe he is hiding something until the last minute.

Millions do it every year, rich, middle class and poor. It's a common occurence and nothing wrong with doing so.

He only makes $20 million a year. Have you ever tried to hire competent accountants on that measly income?

None of your business. His tax form will not run the country if he wins.
