USAF Officer marrying another USAF Officer?
How about Federal Employee who works for the AF marrying USAF Officer?
What happens if one officer gets reassigned? Do they both get reassigned to the new base? Or does the Air Force not even try to make accommodations, and force them to live at separate bases? How about the Federal Employee, would the Air Force try to reassign the civilian to the new base, or would the civilian have to quit to follow their spouse?
Any personal experiences/examples would be appreciated.
6 AnswersMilitary8 years agoDo Protestant Christians believe in apotheosis, deification, divinization, and/or theosis?
Do Christians believe in these quotes made by Christian leaders:
"It is possible for man to become like God, to become deified, to become god by grace. This doctrine is based on many passages of both OT and NT, and it is essentially the teaching both of St Paul, though he tends to use the language of filial adoption and the Fourth Gospel" --Westminster Dictionary of Christian Theology
"The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods."--Irenaeus of Lyon
"For He was made man that we might be made God."--Thomas Aquinas
How is this any different that the Mormon view of "man may become a god"?

5 AnswersPolitics8 years agoBy "Law" Obama must submit a budget by the first monday in February...?
By "Law" Obama must submit a budget by the first monday in February, but after a request from the House of Representatives, Obama's staff as said he has no plan to do so. There is no action the House of Representatives can take to punish Obama for breaking the law. So I must ask:
If a law has no consequence, for being broken, is it really a law?

5 AnswersPolitics9 years agoTo socialists: what is a "social dividend"?

I am trying to understand your point of view better. I was reading through "Market Socialism" on Wikipedia, the article claims that "Social Dividends" aren't taxes and aren't a form of welfare, but to me it seems like they are. If the government take profits from a company isn't that "taxing"? If the government decides to give that money to people other than employee's or investors and gives the money away to "those in need" isn't that welfare? If I completely misunderstand the concept please explain, also I know Wiki isn't always accurate, so please let me know if the article is wrong as well.
1 AnswerPolitics9 years agoAccording to South Park all elections come down to choosing between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.?
So my question is: Knowing that Romney will probably win the Republican nomination.
Will it be :
Romney = Douche; Obama = Turd Sandwich
or
Obama = Douche; Romney = Turd Sandwich

They don’t hire you ‘cause you look like you’re crazy,” the mayor said. “You have damaged your own race.”'

4 AnswersPolitics10 years agoIs any one in the media still supporting Obama 100%?
I just got done watching Chris Matthews spend 15 min talking about Obama's failure at leadership and job creation. If the man that gets a "thrill up his leg" when used to see Obama is criticizing him, and the New York TImes it criticizing Obama. Who's left?
6 AnswersPolitics10 years agoDoes anyone else find the current US Congress backwards?
Let me explain. The senate was originally established to represent individual states and their interests. Where as the house was established as a direct representation of the people. That's why ever state gets exactly 2 representatives in the senate where as house Representatives very by state population.
Do you think its funny that right now the house of Representatives is fighting more for state/corporations rights and the senate is fighting more for civil liberties. Instead of the way it was originally intended?
7 AnswersPolitics10 years agoWhat percentage would we have to tax the rich to balance the budget?
Please include sources. This is a serious question, please no Republican or Democrat blaming, I'm just looking for a percent to tax the highest tax bracket in the US tax code to fix the budget for 2012.

6 AnswersGovernment10 years agoWhat would you continue to fund once the debt ceiling is reached?
The government pulls in about 200 Billion a month.
Some numbers/ statistics are found at:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/07/22/debt-to...
My suggestion is:
29 B(Billion) to interest on debt, 50 B social security,50 B medicare/medicaid, 31.7 B + 5.8 B Military Spending and Salaries, 14.7 B Federal Salaries, 3.9 B IRS refunds, and 11 billion to unemployment and welfare office (they would only get half checks, sorry but you're not working and we don't have enough money to pay for it all.)
Total: 196.1
Save the rest for next month just in-case you don't quite get all 200 billion as expected.
