You should go for the macbook pro, it is a lot more powerful than a macbook air. If you're looking for portability over performance, then the macbook air is the winner. Good luck choosing!

Generally, you can think about the MacBook Air as a less expensive, lighter, less powerful MacBook Pro. Or, you can think about the MacBook Pro as a more expensive, heavier, more powerful MacBook Air. That's oversimplifying it by a lot, but it basically holds across the board. Which one you choose is going to boil down to what you need your laptop to do and how much money you're willing to spend.

The Pro line is more powerful. Unless you really care about the lightness of the Air, go for the Pro.

The Air makes use of Flash memory and not an SSD by potential of ways. I went with the 15" professional with the aid of fact i needed an inner disk stress and a greater constructive CPU. i like it and that i comprehend I made the the desirable option decision. additionally keep in mind the Intel pix scales as you place greater RAM interior the equipment. At 4GB you have 384MB and at 8GB you have 512MB. yet another element for the professional is which you will deploy a SSD or Hybrid stress in case you desire to and deploy yet another HDD as against the disk stress.
