The efforts to rewrite history are all coming from the right wing. This has been going on for years but knowledgeable people reject their very obvious efforts.

Edit: As a result of Internet access and better education, individuals can research primary documents, for example, for themselves. We can read the documents issued, consult the original debates in Congress, read the laws passed, etc. We can also analyze the historical newspaper articles and editorials to compare them on a factual basis and compare the opinions expressed.

The right wing wants to limit historical knowledge to a very narrow and distorted view but since individuals have access to many various historical sources and many have developed good critical thinking skills, the right-wing efforts will fail.

The right wing can try to brainwash some children but a good education will overcome those efforts.

That's a laugh. The Right has been claiming Patriotism for DECADES when they are against their own government, have young Americans fight, get maimed and die for wars that benefit only the rich - ignoring them afterwards. Give tax money away by the BILLIONS to corporations already raping the American public. Need I go on? Conservatives are NOT 'Patriots', except in their OWN minds. They are just evil, selfish people that won't even support their own country.

No one needs to rewrite THAT history, it's around us every day.
