Why would a grown man want to have a Pony Tail?

Why would any man, and especially one who is in his senior years want to walk around with long hair which some of them fix into a pony tail? Are they really women who have been born as men?

I do not understand the allure, if any, of this particular hairstyle for men.

Each person is entitled to have their hair however they want it. Just because you don't particularly like long hair on men doesn't mean others don't. In fact, I am attracted to guys with long hair. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

It is just personal preference. Some people like long hair and others don't. It is difficult to think of ways to explain it since no one can explain it. It is just that people like what they like.

My husband has shoulder length hair while mine is a short crop. I've had long hair, but am loving the short as well. I don't think gender really matters as much as hygeine.

Each to their own really. Why is it wrong for men to have ponytails anyway?
