What's with rotten tomatoes and bad reviews?
Just about every new movie that comes out as of lately is given a terrible review by Rotten Tomatoes. But the movies come out awesome despite 30% rotten. Are they more depressed than we are?

Critics are critics, and will judge movies based off of their general opinions of the movie, plus how well the movie was done overall. I have a great many favorite movies which they didn't like, but i also have favorites which they did. I rarely agree with any critics at all, I let myself be the critic. Just because you love a movie doesn't make it a genuinely good movie according to any critic.

The movies getting rotten reviews typically aren't good movies. The populace just has very bad taste.
