Has there been progress in the WWF Save The Tiger program?
I love these big cats and would like to know if there is anyone out there with real information regarding the WWF and other programs ( like Create an Uproar ) who are on this every day. I contribute regularly but more is needed I fear.
thanks for the feedback so far. But regarding that one response..... The WWF is NOT scamming anyone. In fact they are one of the most reliable sources for wildlife protection in the world. That is fact! And I have substantiated that for myself. But what I am referring to is the progress of the WWF and other major organizations who are currently working hard on stopping the poaching and encroachment into the areas these and many other animals live. Most of the encroachment is wasted anyway. I appreciate all feedback and hope for some good news.

I wish I had paid closer attention now but this might be of interest to you even though it doesn't directly involve the World Wildlife Association.
I saw a TV program a few nights ago. It was about a substandard Tiger farm type thing. There were 20 or more adult tigers that were painstakingly transferred to a tiger rescue site in Texas where they could live in relative tranquility. Although these tigers are unlikely to be introduced into the wild, it is a significant number of tigers which could be used to breed infants that could repopulate areas devastated by humans. I'm sure you can Google this and get better details if it is of interest to you.
I commend you for your support of these wonderful creatures.

I don't know if the wwf is involved, but the ssp program has bred over 5000 tigers in the USA alone and many have been released in the wild. (even though most of these are poached because of thier close affinaty to humans)
