Would you call this person insecure, a slut, or confident?

Question

I was talking with my girlfriend about this a few weeks ago and she was telling me something about a girl posting on facebook that wearing revealing clothes makes you feel confident or something.. My girlfriend is literally a her way is right kind of person.. She won't even think about the other side for a second if she thinks it's the wrong way.. So I couldn't continue it with her without the chance of her getting mad at me..

So if a girl had some what of a revealing clothes.. Let's say to her belly button, would you say she's  confident in her looks, insecure, or a slut? My girlfriend said she'd be a slut and she is really insecure about herself wanting compliments etc. I said that she was confident in her looks. Why else would she dress like that? A fat person sure as heck wouldn't. My girlfriend won't even wear shorts if it's 90 degrees because she says her legs look horrible.. 

So I think that person is confident in her looks.. What do you think? and how revealing do you think a person is before they are considered a slut?

It kinda depends on how often they dress in a revealing sort of way.

If it's a once and a while thing, that's confidence.

If it's an every day thing, insecurity, and shows that she obviously doesn't know how to get compliments without dressing like a slut. 

Problem is though, no matter how you dress, people who don't know you are going to judge you.  So if you go out on a day where your feeling confident and your showing a bit more skin than usual, SOMEONE who doesn't even know you is just going to think your a slut.

Sucks being a girl sometimes.

A slut is somebody who supplies it to everybody at every time without no longer something in replace. it somewhat is ironic via fact even a prostitute has extra type than a slut. a minimum of a prostitute ask for some thing in return. So except you're doing the factor a slut does, then no, you're no longer a slut. Oh, and lady hate sluts via fact they view them as someone who will sleep with their guy in the back of their backs. men are not somewhat called sluts, they're called in a term that pass with. a girl isn't called a slut with the aid of sound asleep with a guy an identical day they dated. yet they're called a slut with they proceed to try this with each and every guy they dated.

I wouldn't say confidence depends on how much skin you show. If a girl is wearing too much revealing clothes (boobs hanging out of shirt, shorts as short as underwear), she's probably a slut. Confidence would be wearing what you want, no matter how bad or stupid it looks, and not caring what people think of it.

it depends. is she wearing way too revealing clothes? cuz then she would be insecure and most likely a slut. it all depends on how she dresses usually you can tell the difference between confident and slut. but ur gf was probably just jealous. she didnt like the fact that you were looking at other girls

She sounds like she is insecure but she might be putting up a front. I know tons of ppl like that! They usually have some sort of mental problem.
