How do shy guys act around someone they like?

From experience they are slow to approach you or even talk to, but I find they are quite deep and well read, on interesting things and are not shallow. They will talk to you about a huge range of things often not the things like others, like sports and activities that have no interests to him.

They are genuine people and generally straight forward and honest and at times unintended perhaps insult you, but if you tell them something he said offended you he will be quick to apologise and they are for real.

At times when you are out with him with a crowd he will tend to listen to what everyone else says.
