What is the theme of this poem?

The theme is making a choice and the results of that choice. The two roads seem to symbolize two paths in life, and the speaker says he chose one because it seemed less traveled, although there actually was little difference between the two. was not happy to have to make a choice, and as he walked the road he had chosen, he became increasingly aware that he would continue on it. Some critics see the road less traveled as Frost's decision to become a poet. In any case, the speaker realizes that his choice will affect the rest of his life.
