No offense, but that's a dumb question. OF COURSE we aren't.

    In the U.S. ..

A gay man or lesbian can't see his/her lover of 20 years in the hospital as he/she is dying of cancer, but the family who ostracized him/her can, but of course they won't

Gay couples, who have a steady income, a house, and don't have any problems can't adopt children, but crack smoking, child abusing mothers can still keep their children.

Women are paid 77 cents for every dollar a man earns doing the exact same job

Muslims and those of Arab descent are hated with a fiery passion in this country; around 100 years ago it was the Jews, and around 50 years ago it was anyone who was Asian, whether they be Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese.

This country is full of empty words and promises, since the people shout out their racist and prejudiced demands and it is so.

We are far from equal. People are all equal human beings and should be treated as such, but unfortunately, we are not. We may be more equal than others, but still, our society is very unequal due to differences in wealth, rights, race, religion, social status, ethnic background, morals, and so much more. Some people are treated better than others for these reasons, some treated so much worse. If we are to ever become a more "equal" society, we have a mighty long way to go... :/

no sir and it is quite evident.

i miss the days when the white man had all the power instead of just most of the power. The days when everything was right =] no matter how wrong it was.

HAHA no, we try to make it that way but hasn't succeeded, it's gotten much better but in someplaces it has gotten worse, all depends where you're talking about

Nope, not really, everyone is treated differently, because of wealth, status, position.
