Philippines involvement chemical warfare?
To do with the latest H5N1 bird flu virus in Northwest China is it coincidence or related to the incident this week of Chinese vessels and a Filipino warship?
Thank you Bernie_b your sensible answer made me realize the Philippines could not have been involved after all.
A thank you to Delive_ranc too! Your detailed facts are helpful as always.
It was my mistaken thought that “bad” Balut egg had somehow been the culprit. Balut is duck and the Chinese bird flu virus has to do with chickens.

Just a coincidence I suppose. Chemical warfare? Why would China involved itself with chemical warfare when the Philippines and China is not even in a war path or engage in any war footing whatsoever.
H5N1 is not actually new. The Philippines is already alerted in 2003 of such in the past, and since then Philippines has not actually experience H5N1 bird flu in the Philippines. That is why the Philippines is cautious of any meat products coming mostly from China.
Filipino warship has nothing to do with H5N1 bird flu virus if any. Filipino warship is probably inspecting and surveying the latest dispute between the Philippines and China across the 120 nautical miles off Zambales. Philippines has no chemical facilities or even have chemical warfare, Filipinos do not even know what are the different chemical symbols. Filipinos are not that smart to begin with. So I guess this is just a rumor and will remain that way for months or even for a year.

No. The country has no capability of building rockets so chemical warfare is just a speculation same with the incidence that you are talking with. As far as I know we are flu free country and we banned chickens coming from China because of this flu.
