What ointments do you recommend to prevent dryness after being tattooed?

It may sound silly but is it okay to use olive oil?

For my first I used bepanthen. Never again it was horrible!

For my next and subsequent tatts I used lucas' pawpaw ointment. I have never found anything that works as good. It moisturises helps healing and gets rid of the urge to scratch cause it gets rid of the itching. Best decision I ever made and my tattooist sells it in his shop now.

Once the tatt has finished pealing use a non scented moisturiser.
