it depends on what your needs are and your budget.
They are both small cars, but the focus is larger. more powerful, slightly worse on fuel consumption.. one may argue it is a little harder to park.
the fiesta is smaller, lighter and better on gas. and cheaper to buy. It depends what you need.
Personally i would go for the focus, i like the look of the new ones, they get great ratings, the gas mileage is still good and maintenance is good on those cars too. I like having the extra space.
but that's what i would want.
Why don't you go test drive them and see which car suits your needs and style.

each have dealing with that best VW homeowners might dream of. construct high-quality is pleasant, reliability is well. persons nonetheless have the belief that fords are rusty and breakdown. that can had been real within the eighty's however it now not applys at present. you wont discover one legit evaluation that slates the attention. even jeremy clarkson owned one as a every day driving force for years. for £3000 you might get a excellent attention with a two.zero zetec, a excellent mk5 fiesta zetec-s (my fave) or a prior mk6 fiesta. the diesel engines are grand, as are the zetecs/duratecs. if purchasing a fez, prevent a one million.three 8v. they're dated engines. as for fault, all autos have faults. yet another for the idiots above me: ford possess 33% of mazda. the autos are developed with the identical portions.
