I want to buy a 2011 Malibu 2LT that is listed at $15,500 with 36,000 miles. Never "haggled" with a car salesman before, so what would be a good offer to start out at?

I dont mean any offense to anyone who is a vegetarian when I say this, but for those that do not eat meat because they dont like animal slaughter; what does this solve?

Again, no offense, this is an honest question as I dont know any vegetarians. I am saddened that animals die as well, but it will never stop. Ever. And I feel that not eating the meat will mean that an animal died for no reason then. It would be even more sad if a cow died for its meat, and everyone refused to eat it.

This is only a question for people that are vegetarians simply for animal rights, etc. I understand there are other reasons for being one.

For those that believe people are taught to be gay, what is your reasoning?

Who are so "holy" will go to hell for boycotting and speaking down about gays? They were in fact born that way, so wouldnt that be undermining one of God's creations? If God were here, wouldnt he just pray for them, instead of making them feel unworthy? And since one sin is not greater than another, you might as well be gay yourself for those remarks because you are now equal in god's eyes.

Also saying ill things about people. Is that a sin?

I bought a half of a chicken from the grocery store that is already seasoned. I know it goes in the oven, but I was wondering at what temperature? And any other tips?

I have had a student loan with sallie mae since 2008. I am currently on summer vacation until I start back up school in fall. I have never done summer school and have never had to pay anything to Sallie Mae. They recently told me that I have to start paying since I have the summer off and can only defer my payments one time. Again, in the last 4 years I never had to pay anything. I explained to them I dont have the money so they said I could pay $100 fee to put it in forbearance for 3 months.

Why now all of a sudden are they telling me I cant defer it, and saying I only have one chance to defer it when Ive defered it every summer since 2008?

Any info would be great.

I plan on giving the bridesmaids matching necklaces and earings to wear at the wedding as their gift, but am completely lost at what to give the men. They dont smoke and arent big drinkers so engraved lighters or flasks wouldnt really be appropriate for them.

I've recently been on a DIY kick with making high waisted denim shorts, distressed, studded and some with bleach patterns. I love making them so much but I dont need nor have room for so many shorts. I was contemplating the idea of making and selling them. I saw a lot of similar ones being sold on Etsy.com, but wasnt sure how well things actually sell on there. I was also thinking of putting them on a local rummage type facebook page, but many of the people on there are not really the audience that would buy the shorts. What do you think I should do? Or should I at all?

I have an iphone 3gs and my wonderful cat decided to spill water on it overnight and now its not working. I am getting a 4s tonight and was wondering if its still possible to transfer my contacts, pictures, etc to the new one even if the old phone isnt working. Also, is there anyway to get back an app? Ive been using an app to track something for over a year now and would HATE to lose all that info.

My fiance and I are getting married in August of next year and would love to buy a house after the wedding.. Only problem is, his credit is not the best but mine is good. How difficult do you think it would be for us to get a $70,000ish home loan? We are currently renting and have never been late on payments if that would help at all. And how much would we have to put down?

I plan on taking a motorcycle safety class soon and would love to get a Ninja 250, but I am worried I will have a hard time learning how to ride as I know nothing about switching gears, etc. How long did it take you to get the hang of it? Also, would a Ninja be a good bike for me? I am 5'3 about 130 lbs.

My fiance and I are planning our wedding for about a year from now. My parents are giving me $1,000 for my wedding dress and $5,000 to help pay for the wedding. My fiance's mom is not as well off as my parents but we told her in advance that we wanted her 16 year old daughter to stand up and her 5 year old to be the flower girl. We told her that she would need to save $150 to buy their dresses and that would be all she would contribute to the wedding financially and probably all together. She made excuses and said she wont be able to pay for them and that we should but we have enough to pay for. Would it be wrong to not include the two girls in the wedding if they cant buy the dresses?
