What would you offer for a car that is listed at $15,500?
I want to buy a 2011 Malibu 2LT that is listed at $15,500 with 36,000 miles. Never "haggled" with a car salesman before, so what would be a good offer to start out at?
@Little Debi, I would def pay $15,500 if it included everything as well. Thanks.

It would not be unreasonable to hope for $1,000 off the price, more likely $500.
I would start at $14,000, hope for $14,500, but expect to pay near $15,000. However a lot will depend how desperate you or the salesman look.

I'd take it if that price included taxes, fees, licensing, and registration. (ie Out the Door cash price)
KBB gives that vehicle a retail used price of $15,200.
