I had laser surgery for cervical cancer?
I am cancer free now but the tenderness of my vagina is painful. I have flamazine cream and it helps. I am also on Tylenol 3's with codeine but they aren't doing much to alieviate pain. I would like to know how long this is going to take to recover from and if anyone has any great or experianced ideas that would make life more comfortable for me, I'm interested in knowing them please.

My older sister had that surgery when she was 23. It took her about 2 weeks to feel totally normal, but if I remember she was able to get up and walk around after the first day or so. She said she had the same kind of pain and like you, the medicines didn't help very much. She also had trouble peeing the first day she was back due to the anesthesia. My advice is to try and sleep as much as you can so you can heal that sensitive area and try to keep pressure off of it (like sitting on hard surfaces).
You should start to feel better after a few days and continue to improve for the next week or 2. If you feel that the pain is ever getting worse instead of better, give your Dr a call.
