The never-ending war between Atheists and Christian is still never-ending. :-/
Also, people assume that all Christians are homophobic and that Christianity is diametrically opposed to homosexuality. (I am both Christian and Queer, for the record).
Everyone is way more invested in antagonizing others than listening and learning or forming community and relationships.
