After much study, I discovered all other religions I have encountered have been about self-enlightenment of some sort or the founders of the religion have had some kind of motive for creating the religion (money, war, etc). Christianity is the only one where the motive is Pure. Jesus lived and taught about love. To love each other. He then paid the ultimate price on the cross for all of our sins.
There is no doubt in my mind that the Christian God is the one true God who created the universe. He loves us so much that He came in human form to teach us and to experience life as a human. Think about that. How dare we claim God doesn't understand what it is to be human! He then paid the ultimate sacrifice on the cross for US. He set the example on that cross... He had the power to destroy all those beating him, but He completed the example of how He wanted us to live a life of love and an act of mercy that would forgive us all!
There is no other motive except for love. The two greatest commandments He gave are to love God and the 2nd is to love each other and not hurt each other.
God Bless.

I believe that we are like people in a box, and everyone is looking through a different peephole. One person sees the sky, another sees trees and still another views the ocean. Who is right? Who is wrong? I think God is more than a single person can comprehend.

I believe because of a life changing personal encounter with God over forty years ago - something that happened completely unexpectedly.
I was in a state of deep depression, and as I lay on my face crying, a voice spoke a simple word into my heart saying "Maybe Jesus really did die for your sins". I guess I seized hold of that out of desperation, but the moment I did, a tremendous change occurred in me. The depression vanished, never to return, and in its place I somehow knew my sins had been forgiven, and that I had a hope for a bright future. I felt a love, peace and joy like I never knew existed; and I knew I had been visited by God, that He was real, that Jesus was real, and that things would go well with me from that day onward.
I stopped my habitual lying and stealing and hating others that day, and began to love God sincerely from my heart, and to love others as myself. Over time, many other changes came - freedom from drugs, alcohol, gree, fear, anxiety, and so many other things I wouldn't have time to list them all.
In time, i realized that this is what the Bible calls being "born again."
listen to some others who experienced it:

people believe what they want to believe, some strongers than others. I don't see christians strapping a bomb and willing to die for their God.
