Not yet, I have thought that the Ducati has had basic design flaws for years and nothing that has happened recently has changed that. Stoner had no real experience on a MotoGP bike when he went to Ducati beyond a crash strewn year on the LCR Honda and so had no bad habits to unlearn, he was able to get on the Ducati and ride it. All the other riders who the Ducati has destroyed have had years of riding other motorcycles so know what it should do or at least what they want it to do, from I can gather despite all the changes the same basic problem exists the riders haepve no or little confidence in the front end.
It's also rumoured that current engine was never designed for the Ali frame and that in itself has brought issues which will not resolved until they change the engine mounts, at which time it has also been rumoured we may see a narrower angle Vee.
I think you could put Rossi on either the Yamaha or the Honda and he would be at the front mixing it, there is life in the old dog yet.

Rossi is very knowledgeable about bikes. I believe Ducati have him there to try and improve the bike as much as possible and I think he's done just that. Rossi isn't what he use to be but he is still a good rider. I think it's time for him to give the ride up for someone else who's looking to get into GP's. The way I look at it is he's got downhill since that injury that threatened his career a few seasons ago. Isn't his contract with Ducati up this year anyway?

So much for the man with the abitity to set up any bike.

last season i thought so. i didnt get into motogp until about the beginning of last season. so i never knew what the deal was about. but watching catalunya of 09 or 10 i think. the end of that race was ridiculous. but he's not doing too bad lets see what happens this season.
capirossi held it out until he was consistently in the back pack.
