What cause excessive sweating?

i'm a guy bout 19 years and my mom of 50 years always complains of heat so she sweat a lot especially when she applies lotion,me on the other hand doesnt feel such when i apply lotion and even in the scorching sun,i think it has do with being relaxed and calm and not be worried and anxious.but what do you think ?

    She could be going through menopause. It's common for women around her age to have heat-flashes.
