I am thinking of doing a mini Pumpkin Patch this year.?

I am guessing our garden spot would grow about 40 to 50 pumpkins, my plan is to have my little ones help out growing them and than sell them for a few days,, Any advice? How much would we charge. ? I cant say i have done ay gardening in forever.! Thanks!

2seeds of a dollars.. I was thinking more like $5 to $7 each..

    If you're guessing your little garden spot would grow 40-50 pumpkins, it can't be that "little". A single pumpkin vine can run 20', and each plant will produce 2-3 vines. Each vine will produce 4-10 pumpkins, depending on variety, soil fertility, watering, and plant care.

    I haven't seen 50 cent pumpkins in 15 years in California...the price here is more like $3-8 for a 9" to 1 foot jack-o-lantern.
