food stamps and pride?
wouldn't it be more compassionate for us to let the food stampers starve to death instead of feeding them?they could at least die with some pride by not being on food stamps. i'm talking about only those who abuse the program who's moms and dads,brothers and sisters,kids and grankids are all on them.

I would rather starve to death myself before I was put on food stamps but I am not a bum like all these aliens coming over here and their SSN is 000-00-0000. That is the truth! Real American families that need help deserve it but this world is gone to hell!

I'm pretty sure most people on food stamps don't want to die. If they were more interested in dying with pride than getting food, then presumably they would have voluntarily refused food stamps themselves.

Just start by saying that after 3 years the amount will be decreased by 25% each year until you get no more.
And how about once you are given a dollar amount of "benefits" it never ever goes up.

Some times pride give way to reality, and people need to apply for welfare, just as your parents did. There's nothing to be ashamed about. Regardless, conservatives hold the same views as you.
