What do you think of my budget changes?

These are my ideas on steps we could make to balance the budget. I would like some honest feedback on them. Tell me which ones you like and which ones you oppose. Please also tell me why you feel the way you do.

I would refuse to sign any law that contained any pork projects-and make sure that all the voters knew why I did not sign it.

3% tax increase on ANY AND ALL income for every single person living in America or having an American citizenship. This 3 % is on top of any tax you owe and can't be avoided by ANYONE-EVERYBODY PAYS! No one pays less than 3%!

Cut all foreign aid by 50% immediately, and many countries would receive none within 3 years.

No entitlement benefit increases for anyone currently in the system. All the remaining entitlement benefits, with the exception of senior benefits, are cut by 20% each year starting in 4 years.

Medicaid has a 10% co-pay. The federal government pays the entire bill and then collects the co-pay.

Open the gulf and most federal lands to responsible oil and gas exploration.

No more government bailouts for businesses!

EPA waiver for new oil and gas refineries all over the country.

Build pipelines-they are a much safer way of transporting oil and gas than truck or barges.

Tax breaks for transportation and energy companies that use natural gas instead of oil and coal based energy sources.

Capital gains over 1 million dollars a year will be taxed at the same rate as your income tax. However, reinvestment into a business's infrastructure will be 100% tax deductible in the year the investment is made.

Shut down much of the IRS and go with a straight sales tax instead.

Bonus programs for federal employees that design programs and/or equipment that save the federal government money.

100% FREE tubule ligation's and vasectomies for every person in America.

Repeal Obama Care and replace it with several smaller laws, with gradual changes, that actually make sense!

You'd have done very well in 1850. In 2012, you're so far out of touch that you couldn't even get on the ballot in Texas.

3% tax increase on ANY AND ALL income for every single person living in America or having an American citizenship. This 3 % is on top of any tax you owe and can't be avoided by ANYONE-EVERYBODY PAYS! No one pays less than 3%! - Impossible to do, how would you force someone living in France to pay your taxes, even if they are American Citizens. An America Citizen living in a different country pays the taxes in that country and very few are required to pay any at all to the US (in fact most don't even file taxes back in the US).

No entitlement benefit increases for anyone currently in the system. All the remaining entitlement benefits, with the exception of senior benefits, are cut by 20% each year starting in 4 years. - Sounds great if you also reverse inflation. Or are you saying no-one should be entitled to any benefit unless they are senior citizens. If someone loses their job, maybe due to Cancer, you want them to live on the streets?

Medicaid has a 10% co-pay. The federal government pays the entire bill and then collects the co-pay. - People are on Medicaid because they are poor. What you are saying is that you can have medical treatment for a cold but should die if you have diabetes or cancer.

Open the gulf and most federal lands to responsible oil and gas exploration. - I think BP answered this one already.

No more government bailouts for businesses! - Yep because if a major bank did fail it would only cause the collapse of 20% of the business in America.

Build pipelines-they are a much safer way of transporting oil and gas than truck or barges. - and only cost 10x as much, would need they all over the country and have a constant monitoring system running on them else you'll have hundreds of people dieing each year trying to steal from them (Nigeria).

Honestly I could say all of these have there problems.

SCOTUS will declare Obamacare unconstitutional in June. Fedgov can not force anyone to sign a contract.

An income tax (16th amendment) is a violation of our property rights. We all own our labor and that can't be taxed in any Nation where Freedom prevails. A consumption tax would be more fair. It is a solid fact that 19 or 20% is what FedGov needs. It is now taking 24%.

As for all the freebies you propose, Ayn Rand once commented that there are many fine ideas but nobody asks "at whose expense?" That includes health care.

If we shut down the IRS and several other Cabinet-level bureaucracies not authorized by the constitution, they'd all have to go back to farming. How would John Deere feel about millions of peasants working the land instead of buying their products? They'd have to go back to making hoes.

What would the secret service do without hoes?

EDIT: Michael R has a good point in his #2:

Wouldn't it be a great idea if we designed a tax structure such that most of trade, commerce, business and industry is driven into the underground economy? Back in the day, that used to be called Freedom.

Remember when cities used to create "free enterprise zones" to entice businesses into blighted inner city areas? Up till 100 years ago the entire USA continent was a free enterprise zone. Before too much Big Government messed it up.

Ever see the 60s TV show "Bonanza"? What kind of taxes did Ben Cartwright pay in the Nevada Territory? Hardly any. That's why he didn't have to hire a bookkeeper or lawyers. And he wore his guns in town.

    FREEDOM!!

    Just two problems:

    1. Coal has only one main use and that is to produce power. Natural gas is best suited for homes and compressed gas tanks. I would continue to use coal (with scrubbers) in power plants.

    2. If we go with a national sales tax, we will run into the same problems that European contries that use it have. Much of the economy goes underground and sales are not reported so taxes cannot be collected

A lot of it might help but, except for Hispanics still overpopulating (even they are changing), the US no longer overpopulates. It's increases are all from immigration. The problem of overpopulation and its destroying economies around the world comes from west and south of the US.

The problem with your plan is no matter what is done most tax funds are spent on buying votes from a society now little children in adult bodies. Their maturity was retarded by their parents. Now they will never really be adults and can't think like adults. They go for whatever fairy tale crap pleases them, so that's where the tax funds will continue to be squandered.

Source(s): For decades I studied philosophies, cultures, and social institutions. I began that because of confusion resulting from my military experience under the shadow of neo-Marxist anti-military and anti-capitalism indoctrination in the universities. I continue a forty year quest wading through the huge pile of stinking crap a wide variety of bigots piled on top of truth hiding it from nearly everyone's view. The pile was made by blaming people they don't like while excusing people they do like regardless of where the fault really lies.

Your ideas are awesome, but you forgot that we have to close the borders.

75% of our healthcare budget goes to illegal aliens.

Illegal aliens are the largest single group in our prisons.

    and so on.
