I'm addicted to peanut butter, please help!?

I know tons of people are crazy for peanut butter, but I wasn't until I became a vegetarian in january, probably because I needed protein, but I started eating meat and my normal diet again in february. And ever since then, I'm addicted. I have hardly any self control.I only get the natural kind, it's ingredients are only peanuts and salt, incase this makes a difference. What do I do?? Why am I addicted to pb?!

It can only point to your body craving one of the nutrients/vitamins in peanut butter. I've gone through fazes where I craved peanut butter, too..and I would sit there and just eat it out of the jar with a spoon..but then I suddenly would become all peanut-buttered-out and not even look at it for a long time. It comes and goes. It seems to me I crave peanut butter when I am eating less..but when I have been preparing, cooking and eating lots of different foods then I don't crave it.

Some people can't tolerate peanut butter (people who have digestive issues, are often constipated, or have bowel problems) are advised not to ever consume peanut butter..but otherwise it isn't as if it's bad for you or unhealthy. It's protein and tasty.

A woman's hormonal cycle is said to be the cause of craving peanut butter, when hormone levels change, and Seratonin levels are low, then cravings will become stronger.
