I would suggest using glycerin. You can find it at health food stores. I bought a bottle of NOW Vegetable Glycerin for $4.49; it has many uses.

Yes, you should put aloe vera or some of the cooling sunburn gels (that sometimes have aloe vera) on it (you can get them at like Walmart or Target, etc.). Just don't peel your skin more - it makes the sunburn worse.

ALOE VERA. It works on sunburns. Also on pimples and acne.

That's when I use a scrub brush that is soft in the shower than apply Aveeno lotion after wards.
