hmmmmm is pirates real?

Well, Joseph, my grammatically impressive fellow, pirates are in fact real. They roamed the seas and took spices, gold, and whatever else ships were carrying. Sometimes, they were made Privateers meaning a government would employ them to be pirates to other countries' ships. Also, there are many pirates of the Coast of Somalia today that often take merchant ships, etc. and execute people until they get ransom or whatever. And also, the drug Cartels in some Latin American countries have taken control of some parts of the Gulf of Mexico. You could maybe call those guys pirates, too.
